Cara Harwell is a long-time member of The Revolution Church, currently serving as the worship leader, treasurer, children’s ministry teacher, and a member of the Pastoral Relations Committee. Cara graduated from Kathleen High School in Lakeland and attended the University of South Florida, becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Cara’s parents, Rev. David, and Shirley Malanowski moved their family to Lakeland from Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania in 1992 to sustain and support the mission of The Revolution Church. In 2002, Cara married Russell Harwell who is the current President of the Trustee Board of the church. After the passing of her father in 2006, Cara continued to support the church in whatever role necessary. Russell and Care are raising two children who are actively involved in the church, especially in music and children’s ministry. Cara enjoys spending time with her family, walking outdoors, and of course singing. She has a special passion for children, music, and administration, and uses these gifts in her roles at The Revolution Church.
